The macrostopper route: A new synthesis concept leading exclusively to diblock copolymers with enhanced DNA condensation potential

摘要
The synthesis concept leading to diblock copolymers with enhanced DNA condensation potential was studied. It was found that the macrostopper concept led to diblock copolymers that enhance DNA condensation in comparison with homopolymer polyethylenimine (PEI) and multi-PEGylated PEI. Results showed that these PEG-b-PEI diblock copolymers were promising candidates for gene delivery.
