摘要
The growth of creating value of modem industry has been shifted from material products and technology innovation to services. China has made it clear that the industrial structure should shift from industrial economy to service-based economy ten years ago. Service Science Management and Engineering is a new emerging research field within the tendency that the whole world industrial structure is reforming rapidly toward services, and then many scholars of China focused on the research opportunities in this field. The basis of research, content, definition and other studies on services is introduced and the research opportunities and weaknesses in China are discussed.
