摘要
Objective: To determine the feasibility and effectiveness of mobile phones for promoting physical activity among adults 50 years and older. Methods: A systematic review was conducted. Articles were searched on April 1, 2017, in databases (Pubmed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Embase, and EBSCO) by 2 reviewers. Results: Eight articles were included. Three studies were conducted in the United States. Four studies found mobile phone interventions effective in increasing physical activity frequency. Participants found mobile phone interventions interesting, useful, and easy to use. Conclusion: Mobile phone interventions were effective in promoting physical activity among older adults, and well accepted despite certain barriers.
