摘要
Contemporary circuit technology and recent frequency regulation activities have opened doors for innovative short-range radar sensors. Ultra-Wideband (UWB) allows unprecedented high resolution and object identification capability, as well as high materials penetration. Periodic, binary pseudo-noise signals are especially suited to meet high-performance operation and integrated circuit implementation. Potential applications of UWB pseudo-noise radar sensors are in the monitoring of human vital activities, geolocation and imaging of objects and environments, nondestructive testing in civil engineering, as well as, high-speed measurements and target recognition.
