摘要
A compact rectangular monopole antenna loaded with ELC (Electric field Coupled resonator) and CSRR (Complementary Split Ring Resonator) is proposed for obtaining multiband resonance characteristics. The size of the proposed antenna is 23x12.8x1.6mm3 which is designed on FR-4 substrate having dielectric constant 4.4.The metamaterial element CSRR offers negative permittivity characteristics and ELC offers negative permeability characteristics for achieving good impedance matching, multiband and antenna miniaturization
