On the theory of elementary excitations in macromolecules

摘要
The problem of electron motion in a conformationally labile macromolecular chain (conformon problem) was analyzed within the framework of the concept of elementary excitations. Using the method of Green's functions, an effective mass of the conformon and a characteristic linear size of its spatial localization were determined assuming the persistent mechanism of the macromolecular chain flexibility.
