摘要
Push-type sludge electro-dewatering equipment with fixed-plate electrodes was proposed and developed to address problems with the current electro-dewatering equipment. The equipment had the advantages of a simple and compact structure, a stable electrode plate, continuous operation, and a high automation level. Taking the voltage and dewatering time as variables, continuous and intermittent power supply experiments were carried out to investigate the final sludge moisture content, current density, temperature, and energy consumption. The equipment ran stably and reliably, and the dewatering effect of the intermittent power supply mode was better than that of the continuous power supply mode. The optimal equipment operating parameters were a voltage of 40 V, a dewatering time (sludge retention time in the equipment) of 10 min, power on for 20 s and power off for 5 s under which the final moisture content was 56.43%. The electric energy consumption for 1 kg of water removal was 0.202 kWh, and the sludge temperature increased to 83.5?. The cathode filter screen size and the filtrate characteristics were also investigated.
