Pyrochlore structure Eu2Ti2O7:In3+, Sb3+ microcrystals were successfully synthesized via solid state reaction method at 1100 degrees C for 24 h. The crystal structure, particle size, morphology, and optical properties of the as-synthesized materials were investigated by XRD, SEM-EDX, and PL. Additionally, the dielectric constant, loss tangent, piezoelectric charge constant and Curie tempereture were investigated by LCR-meter, d(33)-meter and TG/DTA. Both phosphors have a cubic crsytal system in the pyrochlore type. The photoluminescence properties ofEu(1.90)In(0.10)Ti(2)O(7) and Eu1.98Sb0.02Ti2O7 show that the red emission of Eu3+ ion has been observed from sythesized phosphors. At the same time, the phosphors are piezoelectric materials with higher Curie temperature than Eu2Ti2O7 host crystal.
