摘要
In this paper, we proposed a type of all-dielectric metamaterial (ADM) with continues dielectric ceramics. The ceramics, possess high permitivity and low loss, are designed in fishnet shape. With this shape, continuous displacement currents are inspired inside high permitivity ceramics for the incident electromagnetic wave. Then, Lorentz type of electric and magnetic resonances are emerged simultaneously, which result in left-handed properties at the designed frequencies. The left-handedness is proved by parameter retrival method, from which the calculated effective relative permittivity and permeability are negtive simultaneously. For a intuitive demonstration, negative phase shift phenomenons are observed in the corresponding frequencies. Due to pi/2 rotation symmetry, the left-handed property of the ADM is insensitive to different polarization angles. The proposed ADM can be easily realized at any designed microwave frequencies and can be used to made frequency selective functional devices.
