Mono[6-deoxy-6-(1-methyl-2-pyrrolidinylidenesulfamido)-beta -cyclodextrin synthesised as new artificial receptor has shown molecular recognition with remarkable sensitivity to various organic compounds with variation of fluorescence upon guest binding.
