摘要
This article reads the 2006 novel London stani (2006) in relation to author Gautam Malkani's career as a creative industries professional. It argues that the novel unwittingly reveals Malkani's concerns about the work he did, in writing the novel, to translate his Hounslow "rude boy" background into his means of entry into the creative elite.
