The work presents the concerns and contributions of the research collective in the hydrology and water management field of the Hydrotechnics Faculty, "Politehnica" University Romania, from last years. In the work are taken into account: the accidental inundations produced by the cross and longitudinal of the defense works failure; the water courses rehabilitation, the assessment and re ecology techniques of the water body; modeling of the eco hydrological systems; economic analysis of the catchments proper Framework Directive 2000/60/CE
