The Application of Intelligent Algorithm and Pulse Coupled Neural Network in Medical Image Process

摘要
With the rapid development of scientific technology, many advanced technologies and research achievements have been applied into the medical field and a large number of high-precision medical imaging technologies have emerged. To process medical images better, the application of Pulse Coupled Neural Network (PCNN) in image processing has become the key research point. This study compared mean square error (MSE) and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) in salt and pepper noise filter algorithm and median filter algorithm based on PCNN and found the accuracy and efficiency of salt and pepper noise filter algorithm were superior to those of medium filter algorithm. Intelligent algorithm in combination with PCNN parameters which process data after the acquisition of proper parameters can perform better and achieve ideal effects of denoising and segmentation. The method which was developed in this study can improve noise immunity, resolution and visual effect of images, thereby making the presentation of information in images more complete.
