Prostate involvement by non Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is particularly rare and occurs in less than 1% of all NHL patients. We report the case of a 44-year-old man with a follicular lymphoma transformed into an aggressive CD20+ B-cell lymphoma involving the prostate. He was successfully treated with chemotherapy followed by therapeutic intensification using autologous bone marrow transplantation. Positron emission tomography (PET) using F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose combined with computed tomography performed at staging, during chemotherapy and after the completion of treatment proved useful for assessing prostate infiltration by NHL.
