摘要:
Exclusively trans coordination is exhibited by SPANphos, a C2-symmetric diphosphane ligand containing a spiro center, which can be easily synthesized in three steps from cheap reagents. The crystal structures of the ligand and of the complex [PtCl2(SPANphos)] show large P⋯P distances, and reflect the C2 symmetry of the ligand.
