摘要
This paper presents approaches of selected chemical companies in the Czech Republic to the recruitment and methods of further staff education and training. The situation is evaluated in the context of the current Czech labour market, where there is a significant excess demand especially for employees with technical education, resulting from the economic growth. One of the ways chemical companies opt for when seeking employees is utilization of new staff search tools, education and training of recruited workers within one-off or long-term educational activities. They also take advantage of a number of forms of cooperation with schools of all levels. For example, they are getting involved in adjustment of university courses of study. The problem is made more complicated not only by the tense situation in the labour market, but also by the fast technological development, particularly by the Industry 4.0 elements and the expectation of their dramatic impact on the labour market.
