摘要
In the kidney, macula densa cells communicate with the mesangial cell-afferent arteriolar smooth muscle cell complex through ATP signaling. This signaling process involves release of ATP across the macula densa basolateral membrane through a max anion channel and the interaction of ATP with purinergic P2 receptors.
