摘要：

A new very rare species, Fuirena somaliensis, is described from the lowlands of South Somalia below 150 m. The new species belongs to the F. ciliaris complex and has bulliform inner perianth-segments and thus a similar adaptation to buoyancy and dispersal by water as four other African species.
