摘要
Three-phase resonant converters are preferred for high power applications as they provide several advantages such as reduced component stress, small filter size requirement, and high power density. The analysis of these converters is generally performed in frequency-domain using a single-phase equivalent circuit which provides approximate results and may lead to the erroneous design of the converter. This paper presents a time-domain modeling technique for the analysis of a low Q three-phase series resonant converter operating under asymmetric pulse width and variable frequency modulation. This method can also be applied to analyze converters with different resonant tank and transformer configurations without compromising accuracy.
