Superplasticity of aluminium-lithium alloy 1460 in the range of high homological temperatures

摘要
The temperature-rate conditions of superplasticity appearance in the aluminium-lithium alloy 1460 of Al-Cu-Li-Zr-Sc system are determined, As revealed, besides the usual micrograined structure superplasticity, the 1460 alloy samples also demonstrate the high-temperature structure superplasticity, which requires the presence of locally melted grain boundaries. As shown, the flowing of 1460 alloy samples takes place when the mean grain size increases and the phase content is changing, Eventually this is a probable cause of changes of both sample strain rate and superplastic deformation mechanisms.
