摘要
The paper presents the concept of use of a broadband noise radar in role of a ground penetrating radar (GPR). The present concept assumes the use of analog noise signal generated in a band of 1 divided by 3 GHz and power of several microwatts. The paper presents selected radar systems, such as antenna system, front-end receiver, data acquisition and processing system. The concept of use of random signal allows the operation of several transmitters and receivers in the same space, due to the fact that the noise signals are mutually orthogonal signals. The present concept of a GPR noise radar can be applied to construct terrain penetration systems that are use, e.g. to search for mines hidden on route of military convoy.
