摘要
A nano-composite comprised of a highly electric conducting ICP in a non-electric conducting ICP with high Seebeck coefficient was proposed. Because of pseudo-one dimension structure, ICPs have unique feature in thermoelectric application. With the nano-composite having an electric conductivity of 10S/cm, its figure of merit has a value comparable to conventional semiconductor thermoelectrics. At a higher conductivity, the nano-composites hold promise for a ZT value of greater than 4.
