摘要
Various effects of a limiting nitrogen nutrition on the production of a wheat crop have been analysed, according to the nitrogen status of this crop. This latter can be characterized along the whole crop cycle by the nitrogen nutrition index (NNI). It allows to determine the onset of a period of nitrogen deficiency (when NNI becomes lower than I), the deficiency intensity (by the level of NNI), the date of end of the deficiency (when NNI increases until a value not significantly different from I), and the duration of the deficiency. We showed that the leaf area index, the radiation nse efficiency and the grain number of nitrogen deficient crops, in comparison to the values observed on a crop with no nitrogen deficiency are correlated to these deficiency characteristics. The junctions analysed have been integrated in a model simulating the crop evolution, with the aim of giving a good account of various nitrogen deficiencies on yield and grain protein content of a wheat crop. This model includes a soil model describing the nitrogen availability from the end of winter until maturity, a sub model simulating the amount of nitrogen cumulated in the plants according to their growth, a sub model describing the leaf area index increase and the biomass production according to the intercepted radiation, and a sub model of the grain number reduction according to the NNI change. During the grain filling period, the model has other functions simulating the nitrogen and biomass accumulations in the grains, the kinetics of nitrogen remobilisation from vegetative organs to the grains, and their consequences on the reduction of leaf area index and on crop biomass production.
