摘要
This talk presents the numerical investigations and experimental studies on recently proposed sub-wavelength metasurface-coated chirowaveguides. Specifically, a dielectric waveguide with a single- and dual-layer metasurface coatings for enabling strong mode confinement as well as optical activity will be discussed. In addition, mode profiles for co-located chirowaveguides are examined, which reveal different crosstalk properties in E-plane and H-plane coupling configurations. It will be shown that, the designed metasurface can greatly suppress the crosstalk level even for closely located chirowaveguides.
