摘要
Electronic development platforms based on configurable logic, and especially those with additional interface elements, allow the implementation of sophisticated digital systems conceived from an HDL description. One of these platforms is the Basys3, which incorporates an Artix-7 FPGA together with numerous peripheral modules. This work presents the implementation on this platform of a home alarm with acoustic, proximity and motion sensors, designed in a modular way using VHDL. A step-by-step approach is adopted, from lower to higher complexity to facilitate student learning, including both simulation and synthesis.
