摘要
The development of European Union financial market law has been a journey towards federalization. This contribution discusses problems of harmonization and regulation of the European internal financial market. In the aftermath of the financial crisis, financial market regulation has been one of the fastest growing areas of EU law. The main aim of the contribution is to present key phases in the evolution of EU financial market law. Following the financial crisis, the most significant change in the development of the law has been the trend towards federalization.
