A case of adenoid cystic carcinoma of the breast in a 19-year-old girl is presented. As this tumor has specific characteristics and diagnostic criteria, this case illustrates the importance of an accurate histological diagnosis. (C) 2003 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
