摘要
Dr. Beth Arrigo received her training in psychology, culminating in a PhD, from Duquesne University Arrigo is a clinical psychologist in private practice and an Instructor of Psychology at Central Piedmont Community College. She practices from an existential-phenomenological perspective grounded in human experience and presence while also using an eclectic range of psychotherapeutic techniques. This column was transcribed from a discussion in which I spoke with Dr. Arrigo about practicing from an existential-phenomenological perspective in the realm of psychology and from a human becoming perspective in nursing. We found, essentially, that we are more alike than unalike, while differences in perspective sparked an interesting exchange.
