The dispersion effect of TiO2 loaded over ZSM-5 zeolite

摘要
The low-loading titanium dioxide was prepared on the surface of ZSM-5 zeolite by means of the impregnation method. Based on the results of XPS, ESR and photoluminescence measurements, an interaction between ZSM-5 zeolite and TiO2 was clarified. ESR spectra of trapped species for photo-induced electrons were compatible with those of bulk TiO2 powder. The influence of NO on the TiO2 particles (Ti/ZSM-5) shows that Ti3+ serves as active site during photo-decomposition of NO. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
