摘要
Tungsten has a series of good qualities, such as high density, high melting point, low coefficient of thermal expansion, excellent property of electricity and heat conduction, and good property of corrode resistant, so it has been widely used in many fields. Because of its high melting point, it is very hard to get the material of high density by common way of sintering. Activated sintering is an important way to manufacture the material of high density and good properties, and the addition of a small amount of Ni to W powder has been the most important way. In this paper, activated sintering effect of nickel, the optimum doping content and some possible activated sintering mechanisms of nickel-doped tungsten are reviewed, and some suggestions are provided for the research of activated sintering of tungsten and tungsten alloys.
