Inner composition law of pure states as a purification of impure states

摘要
Quantum interference is described in term of density operators only using a formulated composition law for pure-state density operators. In order to retain the relative phases in quantum mechanics, we use fiducial vectors and fiducial projectors. These aspects are illustrated in terms of quantum tomography and density operators. Entanglement is determined in terms of a phase-dependent multiplication. (C) 2000 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
