1D polymeric and tetranuclear silver(I) complexes with bis(diphenylphosphino)methane controlled by the sulfate anion and nitrogen heterocyclic ligands

摘要
Two new silver(l) complexes containing dppm, nitrogen heterocyclic ligands and sulfate anions, namely [Ag-2(mu-dppm)(2)(mu-SO4)(2-amp)(2)]center dot CH3OH (1) and [Ag-4(mu-dppm)(2)(mu-SO4)(2)(mu-4,4'-bpy)](2)center dot 2CH(3)OH (2) (dppm = bis(diphenylphosphi no)methane, 2-amp = 2-aminopyrimidine, 4.4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine), have been synthesized and characterized by IR, X-ray crystallography, luminescence, H-1, P-31 NMR spectroscopy. In complex 1, [Ag-2(mu-dppm)(mu-SO4)(2-amp)(2)] binuclear units are linked through robust hydrogen-bond synthon R-2(2)(8) to give rise to a ID polymer. While in complex 2, two [Ag-2(mu-dppm)(mu-SO4)] units are linked together to form a tetranuclear cluster by two 4,4'-bipyridine ligands. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
