摘要
Shortcomings of the thin-flux-tube approximation are outlined. An advanced two-mode approximation for a study of nonlinear waves in flux tubes is presented. The key points of the theory of weakly nonlinear slow waves are presented. Shock waves in flux tubes are discussed.
