摘要
The novel ridge-gap waveguide (RGW) technology which uses a full metal structure has many advantages in micro/mm-wave frequencies such as low loss, broad bandwidth, low sensitivity to manufacturing errors, and easy integration with active components, and so forth. In this paper, a Ku-band 3-way Bagley polygon power divider (BPD) is proposed and experimentally demonstrated based on the RGW technology for the first time, to the best of our knowledge. An RGW-toWR62 transition is also designed and fabricated. The proposed three-way RGW-based BPD with WR62 transitions shows low-loss equal-power division in phase with good impedance matching and isolation between output ports in the Ku band. The proposed RGW-based BPD can be extended to an N-way power divider.
