Numerical simulations of electron-ion collisions in UHI plasmas

Difficulties of numerical simulations of electron-ion collisions in plasmas irradiated by strong electromagnetic waves are discussed. It is shown that such simulations must have be performed with extremely high precision even in the pair-collision approach. Special attention must be paid to a multi-period collision and small-range dynamics during the collision. To eliminate the problem, a regularization scheme for the dynamic equations is proposed.
