Numerical Analysis of Stacked Layered CZTS and CZTSe-Based Thin Film Solar Cell

摘要
In this paper, single CZTSe layer and stacked layer of CZTS and CZTSe have been optimized as absorber layers in thin film solar cell and the variation of cell performance was observed. CZTSe layer was optimized by varying thickness, carrier density and defect density and obtained JSC of 27.87 mAcm(-2), Voc of 0.702V, fill factor of 65.41% and efficiency of 12.79%. By varying the thickness and carrier density of both CZTS and CZTSe together, solar cell was optimized with stacked layer of CZTS and CZTSe. Solar cell with the stacked absorber layer was found to have better cell performance among different CZTS-based solar cells with JSC of 29.23 mAcm(- 2), VOC of 1.1188 V, FF of 71.70% and efficiency of 23.45%.
