摘要
We present a derivation of the general quantum mechanical formula for the photodetachment cross section of H- in electric and magnetic fields with arbitrary orientation. The calculation displays the effects of the orientations of the fields upon the oscillatory structures on the cross section spectra, which are given a satisfactory physical interpretation with the help of closed-orbit theory.
