摘要
The concept of gap waveguide is based on using a finite quasi-periodic structure with an electromagnetic band-gap property to trap waves inside a parallel-plate waveguide. In order to efficiently analyze arbitrary components based on bed-of-nails gap-waveguide technology, we developed an analysis method that rigorously evaluates scattering from each pin using the mode-matching approach in combination with the multiple scattering analysis. The resulting program is very fast making it suitable for iterative optimization in the design process of various components.
