摘要
In this paper, a rigid-plastic meshless method, based on partial differential equations (PDEs) is developed. This method is a truly meshless and integralless method. Compared with the conventional rigid-plastic FEMs, the present method is found to have some merits which are no mesh generation, no remeshing and no integration. Compared with BEM, the present method is found to have some merits such as sparse matrix, no singularity, no integration and no fundamental solution. Compared with other meshless methods, the present method is found to have a merit of no integration. Plane strain upsetting problems with two friction factors are analyzed by using the rigid-plastic meshless method.
