摘要
Employing a new rectification circuit, a current-fed dual-inductor boost converter with current ripple reduction (DIBCRR) is presented in this paper. It features high voltage gain with smaller transformer turns-ratio, recovery of the transformer secondary leakage energy, low voltage stress on the rectifier diodes, and low input and output current ripples. Therefore, high efficiency and high power density can be achieved. In addition to the descriptions of the operation principle, theoretical analysis, and design considerations, a 150k Hz operating frequency with 24-34V input and 200V/600W output specification is realized by a current-fed dual-inductor booster converter with center-tapped rectification circuit (CFCT) and the presented DIBCRR. The performance comparisons are made to demonstrate the superiority of the DIBCFtR over the CF-CT.
