Gd-155 and Gd-157 NMR of intermetallics GdGa2-xAlx has been observed at low temperature for x less than 0.5. The spectra were spread very broadly from 10 to 110 MHz due to large electric field gradient and quadrupole moments of gadrinium nuclei. In comparison of the observed spectra with the simulated ones, we obtained the best-fitted hyperfine fields and electric field gradients. The obtained hyperfine fields are a little larger and the electric field gradients are a little smaller than those obtained by Gd-155 Mossbauer effect measurement. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
