摘要：
In the uplink of the IS-95 mobile communication standard, an orthogonal modulation scheme combined with binary convolutional coding and billary interleaving is defined. In [VVZ93], a receiver with noncoherent demodulation is proposed for this transmission system. In this paper, a receiver with coherent demodulation and decision-directed channel estimation is introduced. Comparisons of both schemes show that the use: of coherent demodulation leads to a significant gain compared to noncoherent demodulation.
