Dielectric relaxations in liquid crystalline 4-(1-methylheptyloxycarbonyl)phenyl-4′-(ω-perfluoroacetoxypropoxy)biphenyl-4-carboxylate

摘要
Dielectric properties of liquid crystalline 4-(1-methylheptyloxycarbonyl)phenyl-4'-(omega-perfluoroacetoxypropoxy)biphenyl-4-carboxylate (MHPFPBC) are discussed in this paper. Four various relaxation mechanisms in 5 mu m thick samples were detected, one of them proved to be Goldstone mode. Some basic physical properties of the relaxations detected are discussed.
