摘要
A new species of Coccobius Ratzeburg (Hym.: Aphelinidae), C. hyrcanus Hayat & Shahbazvar, sp. nov., is described based on specimens collected in Mazandaran province, Iran. All specimens were reared from Lepidosaphes gloverii (Hem.: Diaspididae) on Punica granatum (Lythraceae). The new species is illustrated and its differences from other species are discussed. Also new host records are provided for two Iranian species of Coccobius.
