摘要
An ultra-wideband dually polarized transmitarray of tightly coupled dipoles is presented. The array exhibits an operational bandwidth of 6.2:1 for broadside, maintaining active VSWR < 3. Tightly coupled dipoles are used both as receiving and transmitting elements. To introduce the required phase shift at the transmitarray's elements, delay lines are used connecting the receiving and transmitting elements. The delay lines cut through a common perforated ground plane placed between the receive and transmit elements.
