摘要
Material data describe quantitatively relevant material properties. In this paper fatigue relevant data are discussed regarding availability and ability for the application and transferability on components. Local and nominal approach life prediction is considered. The ultimate load of a component can be reliably predicted by the aid of yield strength and tensile strength of the material. The transferability in the endurance regime under fully reversed loading is shortly discussed. For not fully reversed loading a damage parameter, reflecting the mean stress sensitivity according to FKM-guideline, is introduced for local strain approach application.
