Preparation of BaTiO3 nanoparticles in aqueous solutions

摘要
A novel approach to prepare nanopowders of barium titanate by a solution reaction was established. A solution including titanate group was formed using metatitanate, hydrogen peroxide, and ammonia as the reactants. By controlling the reaction conditions, dispersed and uniform nanopowders of barium titanate were obtained from the solution, whose average size is 15 nm. A series of titanates nanopowders such as nickel titanate, calcium titanate, and lead titanate can be prepared using this approach. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
