摘要
In this paper, the printed compound air-fed array (PCAFA) antenna employing FSS-cover and AMC-base is analyzed and compared for structural thickness and electrical performances, and summarized by an evaluation factor defined as a quotient of the gain-bandwidth product over the electric-volume of the antenna. A thin design with a low evaluation factor is designed and tested for verifying the simulation results.
