Non-Newtonian fluids are used in broad areas, such as in body armor, viscous coupling in (four-wheel drive) vehicles, shoe manufacturing, military suits, etc. Accordingly, the behavior of Sisko fluid flow on stretching surfaces subjected to convective conditions, suction, non-uniform heat source or heat sink, and viscous dissipation was investigated in this work. The governing flow equations related to the stretching surface were solved using the MATLAB bvp4c software program. A comparison of the results was done using graphical representations. The impact of the acting parameters on the velocity and temperature outlines for the cases of the shear thinning, shear thickening, heat source, and heat sink were revealed graphically. From the analysis, we concluded that, in the presence of a heat source, when the Biot number is increased the thermal field increases for shear thickening, while for shear thinning the thermal field decreases. Moreover, in the existence of heat sink and shear thinning/thickening, with increase in stretching parameter, Eckert number, Biot number, and suction thermal field is enhanced.
