摘要
This contribution is part of the research we have doing on locust plague at the last of the 18th century and their impact on society at that time. These pages describe the evolutionary process of a locust plague developed evidently from 1776, and which reached its maximum expansion around 1782, although infestations continued until the last of the enlightened century. This study is based on the documentation preserved in the Archivo Historico Nacional together with information already published in scientific literature.
